What is TotsRock?

TotsRock is a fantastic toddler group that began in September 2007 and is aimed at 1 and 2 year olds and their carers.
It is an hour-long session starting with half an hour of musical activities followed by another half hour of free play. Around 30 children attend each week.

 

 A different theme is followed each half term using a wide variety of child-friendly percussion instruments and other resources.  

 

TotsRock runs every Tuesday morning during term-time from 10.30 until 11.30am, and begins again on 8th September 2009.

The cost is £2 per family.

Who runs TotsRock?

 

Louise Gudger and Nicci Lane are two mums with small children who are members of Kidderminster Baptist Church.  They thought it would be a great idea to provide a service to the local community by setting up a toddler group for 1 and 2 year olds and their parents/carers.

They both have musical backgrounds which gave them the idea to run a structured session based around music for a challenging age-group who need lots of stimulation and activities to keep them occupied!
